IPTV Player: Connect, a player live on both stores

IPTV players tend to come with cluttered menus, stuttering streams and a weak guide. Users add their own playlist, then find it hard to actually watch.

The goal was fast playlist setup, a smooth player and a readable program guide. The app provides no content and only plays the user's own source.

I wrote one app for both platforms with Expo and React Native. In version 6.0 I redesigned the player, rewrote the EPG guide and made adding playlists much faster.

• Automatic resume, with audio, subtitles and speed in a single panel
• Silent reconnects on drops and a clear error screen
• An EPG guide with day selection, channel search, a favorites filter and program reminders
• Global search across all playlists, plus watch history

• Multi-view with 2 or 4 channels as a premium feature

The app is live on both the App Store and Google Play. I also handle release notes, store copy and ASO myself, and version 6.1 brought the player and guide improvements to users.
