Website Development Cost in Adana, Turkey (2026)
The price gap between a brochure site, a corporate site with an admin panel and an online store, the costs you pay every year, and what to check in a cheap quote.
What sets the price of a website?
If you're researching website development cost in Adana, it's normal to see numbers that are far apart. On the same day you can get one quote for a few thousand lira and another for well over a hundred thousand. That's because "website" covers everything from a one-page business card to a store that takes orders. What sets the price is the job the site will do for you.
- Pages and content: fixed pages such as home, about, services and contact, or products, projects and blog posts that keep getting added?
- Admin panel: will you update the content yourself, or email a developer for every change?
- Design: an adapted ready-made template, or a design made for your brand?
- Sales and payments: do you need a cart, a payment gateway, shipping, stock and order management?
- Multiple languages: two languages, such as English and Turkish, nearly double the content and testing work.
- Integrations: booking system, CRM, accounting, maps, forms and email connections.
- Content preparation: will you supply the texts and photos, or do they need to be written and shot as well?
Fast loading and mobile support belong on this list too, but they shouldn't be priced as separate items. Most visitors arrive on a phone, and a site that doesn't open properly on a phone counts as an unfinished delivery today. Prices collected before these points are settled can't be compared. If one quote includes an admin panel and the other doesn't, the cheap one may end up costing more.
2026 price ranges by site type
| Site type | Who it's for | Starting range (excl. VAT) |
|---|---|---|
| Brochure site (5 to 10 pages, no panel) | Businesses that want to explain their service and get enquiries | 25.000 – 75.000 TL |
| Corporate site with an admin panel | Businesses that will update news, projects, a product catalogue or a blog themselves | 50.000 – 120.000 TL |
| E-commerce on a ready platform (setup) | Anyone who wants to start selling quickly with Shopify or Turkish platforms such as İkas and Ticimax | 20.000 – 80.000 TL |
| Custom-built e-commerce | Businesses with their own pricing logic, a dealer structure or integration needs | 120.000 – 400.000 TL |
For most local businesses, a brochure site is the right place to start. If the content rarely changes, building a panel is an unnecessary cost. A few updates a year can be handled as part of maintenance.
With a corporate site that has an admin panel, the content is in your hands. I built the web platform of the Adana Beekeepers Association (Adana Arıcılar Birliği) this way with Next.js and Strapi: announcements and content go in through the panel without any technical knowledge. On the Seleucia Trade project, the Strapi-based setup cut content update times by 40 percent. For a business whose content changes often, a panel can pay for itself within the first year.
For e-commerce there are two routes. On a ready platform the setup fee is low, but you pay a monthly subscription and often a sales commission. A custom build costs more up front, and in return the structure is shaped entirely around your needs. Which one fits depends on how many products you have, your sales volume and whether you have a special workflow.
Domain, hosting and SSL: the items you pay every year
A site is built once, but some items have to be renewed every year to keep it online. Quotes often don't say whether these are included, so you need to ask.
- Domain name: the yearly fee varies by extension, such as .com or .com.tr. The domain must be registered in your name, in an account you can access.
- Hosting: the server the site runs on. A small plan is enough for a brochure site, while e-commerce and panel-based sites need a stronger server. The fee depends on the provider and the plan.
- SSL certificate: the padlock in the address bar. Many hosting providers offer free SSL, so you may not need to pay extra for it.
- Business email: addresses such as info@yourcompany.com are a separate service, billed yearly or monthly.
- Ready-platform subscription: if your store runs on Shopify, İkas, Ticimax or similar, you pay a monthly or yearly subscription.
Is basic SEO included in the price?
"SEO-friendly website" shows up in a lot of quotes, but what it covers is rarely written down. On the sites I deliver, the technical basics below are included in the price, because adding them later costs more:
- A separate title and description tag for every page
- A proper heading hierarchy (one h1, a logical h2 and h3 structure)
- Mobile support and fast loading
- A sitemap and robots.txt
- Structured data for your business details
- Google Search Console setup
What isn't included: regular content production, blog posts based on keyword research, link building and monthly ranking reports. These need ongoing work and are priced separately. If you see a quote that guarantees rankings, be careful. Your position on Google depends on competition and content, and nobody can guarantee a specific spot.
Maintenance and update costs
The software components, plugins and server environment of a live site need updating over time. As a rule of thumb, I suggest planning a yearly maintenance budget of about 15–20% of the build cost. Brochure sites sit near the lower end, e-commerce and panel-based sites near the upper end.
The sites I build with Next.js don't rely on a pile of ready-made plugins, so there's no chasing plugin updates that open security holes, and most of the maintenance goes into content and small improvements. On sites built on an off-the-shelf content management system, plugin and theme updates have to be tracked regularly, otherwise an old plugin becomes the weakest point of the site.
Maintenance usually covers security updates, backup checks, small content changes and bug fixes. A new page design or a new feature isn't maintenance but a separate development job. If this distinction is written into the contract, you won't get surprise invoices later.
Warning signs in cheap quotes
A low price isn't bad in itself. A modest budget can make perfect sense for a small brochure site. The trouble starts when a low price hides a cost you can't see. If you spot several of these signs in the same quote, keep asking questions:
- The domain and hosting are registered in the agency's own account and you get no access.
- The site is built on a closed system that only runs on that company's server and can't be moved.
- The quote has no page list, no revision rounds and no delivery date.
- The same template is sold to many companies with small colour changes, and all the portfolio samples look alike.
- Every small change after launch is billed separately, but no maintenance package is defined.
- You're promised a spot on Google's first page.
- The privacy policy, cookie notice and KVKK text (Turkey's personal data protection law) never come up.
What to prepare before asking for a quote
- 01
Write the purpose of the site in one sentence
Phone calls, form submissions or online sales? When the goal is clear, the page structure follows.
- 02
Make a page list
Write down which pages you need and which ones will be updated often. That tells us whether you need a panel.
- 03
Pick two or three sites you like
They can be competitors or from other industries. Note briefly what you like: colours, simplicity, the product page layout.
- 04
Decide who provides the content
If the texts and photos are ready, the project moves faster. If they aren't, that work is added to the schedule and the budget.
- 05
Book a free discovery call
If you're in Adana we can meet in person, otherwise online, in English or Turkish. After the call I send the scope, schedule and price in writing. The figures on this page are starting ranges, and the final price depends on the scope.
Questions you might have
How much does a corporate website cost in Adana?
For 2026, a 5 to 10 page brochure site without a panel starts at 25.000 – 75.000 TL, and a corporate site with an admin panel starts at 50.000 – 120.000 TL, excluding VAT (KDV). The final price depends on the number of pages, the design and the integrations.
Can you build a bilingual English and Turkish website?
Yes. Keep in mind that a second language nearly doubles the content and testing work, so it shows up in the quote. If you already have the texts in both languages, the project moves faster.
How long does it take to build a website?
A small brochure site usually goes live within a few weeks if the content is ready. Panel-based sites and e-commerce projects take longer. The most common cause of delay is texts and photos not being ready on time.
How much does an e-commerce website cost in Turkey?
Setting up a store on a ready platform starts at 20.000 – 80.000 TL, and a custom-built online store starts at 120.000 – 400.000 TL. On ready platforms, the monthly subscription is paid separately.
Are hosting and the domain included in the price?
Usually not, and they're paid separately every year. I recommend opening these accounts in your company's name and keeping the passwords yourself. I handle the setup and configuration.
Can I update the site myself after it's built?
Yes, if you choose a site with an admin panel. You can change texts, images, announcements and products from the panel without technical knowledge. On brochure sites, updates are done as part of maintenance.
